Yo kids...We the skopetians are busy nowadays so the team blog has been vacant for a while..so I just drop by to drop a karutnye post here...Haha
So here goes..As u can see from the pics..Those are expensive delicacies.( betul spelling tak? haha) New york cheesecake..Oreo cheesecake..Brownie with ice-cream..yum yum..We were out that day in school and myself BoyBoyan belanja-ed all the award winners to all these sweet creamy little things...lol..since i ran out of twisties to give them.. I accidentally ate them all..I thought they were chickadees..tasted the same..haiz..oh well..
Orders came quick..Tamak nak mampus.. cake-cake tu tak lari lah..haha..The moment the cakes came the skopet golden boot winner..aka..baby bear,the captain of the kiddish skopet team..'destroyed' the others to get all the cakes. u can see how happy he is in the pic.. I got injured and need 7 stitches on my forehead..Toyol gemuk and syaf prodigy were flung 100 meters off the table and ahmad tempe got his pants shredded to pieces..ish ish..Violent.gore..crazy
But what to do..We just left him alone to eat all those..and the rest and myself went somewhere else to eat instead..Seriously this baby bear needs training.. Kecik2 dah susahkan orng..dah besar cammanme..agaknye..hahahahaha..

The Inaugural Skopet Awards
Hi everyone,
Welcome to the first annual
Skopet Awards, where we honour outstanding achievements and excellence from our players. These awards are given out after a systematic and fair voting exercise by all players and fans in recognition of the individual brilliant contributions to the team.
Trophee du Ballon d'or ( Golden Ball award) - This is the traditional best player award; given to the player who have achieved a high level of consistency and inspiring performances in all matches. The backbone of the team, the player who receives this award truly deserves this most valuable player accolade in the eyes of his teammates and spectators; if any.
The nominees are : Yusuf,Syafii,Rudy,Fadly,Herman(vote sendiri).
And the winner of the golden ball 2006 is ....
SYAFII ! Well done prodigy syaf. Keep up the good work.
Trophee du Soulier d'or (Golden Boot award) - This award recognises the player with incredible technique and high level of predatory instinct demonstrated by achieving the highest individual goal tally within the team. The player who scores the most number of goals is definitely an asset in any team.
It is my pleasure to announce that the award goes to our very own maradona with 12 goals.. AKU!!!! haha baik ah Fad!!
Golden Pass award (most assists) - Given to the player with an eye for the killer pass or through ball. Unselfish in creating opportunities for teammates to score through his vision and creative play. The fulcrum of the team's attacking play, the recipient of this award has telepathic understanding with the strikers.
This award goes to Yusuf skopet, a penetrative winger who does not only create chances for others but can also score goals.
Most Improved Player - Similar in concept to the Good progress award in school, the MIV award honours the player who had make significant breakthrough in the art of improving himself.
This year's winner is Husni aka AbgHidung who has turned out to be a decently solid centreback. Dont believe us? You should have seen husni back in JC. haha. Remarkable improvement, but dont stop there abghidung.. there is still much room to improve.
Best Captain award - aku. clear cut. haha just kidding.
Thats all for the four main titles being contended. Next up is the
WakBon Awards, might be less prestigious but equally important recognition to players' efforts. WakBon awards is named after our eccentric ex-pjc soccer coach who moulded many of skopets' first-teamers. Great coach. Trainings were fun. How do we repay him? By getting trashed 3-0 twice in the inter-jc tournament. LOL.

Best Goalkeeper = Rudy.. best goalkeeper... and also our only goalkeeper. hahaha. reliable, loud and organises the defence effectively. Vast goalkeeping experience having played in one of the division leagues.
Fiercest player= Syahid. no-nonsense tackler of the ball. Trademark hard and clean sliding tackles to keep opponents at bay.
Laziest player = Herman. malas ar nak type. haha unorthodox but efficient in finishing off teams like Nasrin's.
Most versatile = Boyboyan. Strong defender last year.. and becoming a clinical striker this year. 4 goals in 2 games. More versatile than philip neville, darker than samuel eto, our Boyboyan never fails to entertain with his antics. Go rizman nalo.

Kids who cannot stop scoring..( cannot stop conceding either )
haha..What a nice day..it was. rain whole day..Our field booking was cancelled due to the non-stop rain and also to prevent the ke-hancar-an of the field if kids like us were to play..Crap system..Malas ah aku nak mintak refund..jauh je..nak pegi tempat SSC..
Me and captain Cacat ( although recovered after being stung by tons of jellyfish @ ) went to scout for open fields where we can play.. THe whole team was experiencing withdrawal symptons of not playing soccer for a few days. Both of us spent like 2 plus hours recce-ing public fields..places like jurong west where the goal posts was rusted beyond recognition and debris on the field.. Yew tee where it was a state land..( kena halau confirm) and the goal posts were all over the place in pieces.. Bukit batok..the conditions were just too horibble.. Finally we decided to play @ the field just behind Al-Mukminin mosque near jurong east mrt station..Field was still playable despite the rain and a few crazy potholes..
Talking about the game..Due to the size of the field we had to play 9-a-side...and so the skopets went with 4-2-1-1 formation.It was just flawless..Against a team of adik2..comprising of baby bear's cousin..we went 3-0 ahead in just 20 minutes with 2 goals coming from who else the potential golden boot award winner boyboyan..LOL..haha...Thanks to our midfield geniuses syahir gremlin and sop empet.. and also much credit to our solid back four..and not forgetting the perpetually tarebeng machine Rudy dig didi..hhahahaha..
Our 'air defence' need to be strenghtened..cos we concede goals coming from corners and free kicks..haha..First half the score was 5-3..very high scoring match..First half we were just dominating..control game..haha..
However the highlight of the match was in the 2nd half..haha..Crazy tackles..takedowns..slams..piledrivers..spinning heel kicks..royal rumble..The whole field was in a mess...the ball can;t even move..stuck in mud and holes..The opponent's team is just too violent and i dun think they are playing soccer..nak wrestling pe?!!!..haha...One by one..the skopetians got injured..Syafiq got screwed straight to the face with a special elbow punch by one shit kid..our captain fadly aka baby bear got straight thrust kicked to his chocolate filled belly..me boyboyan got ankle locked when i was on my way to goal..syahir gremlin got over the top body slammed onto the mud..sop empet got a double leg sweep to his side.. Ish ish ish hahaha
Abis semua injured..Tu lah..Nak main sangat kan..Hujan2 stay rumah tido suah..degil..nalo..masih nak main.. Ahhh..One more thing..there was no referee..haha..one of the major reasons why such violence occur..haha..
Although beaten quite badly until we cannot distinguish between our own blood and field mud , we the skopets still beat their asses in soccer..7-5...lol..Budak taik..tempat taik.. 2 wins in 2 games in the new season with the 2 strikers. netting 7 goals out of the 10 goals we scored in the 2 games..Power dega..

Its been a while shit kids..haha.. It is time to post some meaningless posts yet again..Been thinking for a while with the team about what to put in this team blog. A lot of crazy ideas here and there but just been unable to put it in words and into the blog. I promised a long time ago to put some boyan words too..hahaha..yeah learnt quite a few new words in the last few weeks.. u guys should learn some too..interesting..haha
Here are some of the interesting ideas that we came up with
Featured player of the weekLOL..that's rite..every now and then I will come up with a compehensive guide to one player of the team..What i mean by comprehensive is really comprehensive. From soccer attributes, weaknesses, hobbies, strengths, likings, scandals and even their seluar dalam nye brand..haha..Taknak tau pun akan dapat tau jugak..so stay tuned dudes.. Not forgetting their most recent pictures of themselves.. With a 'tak pandang pe?' pose too.. Handphone numbers and email address also will be put up too..haha..Promote diri sendiri..Tak tau malu..
Videos of our trademark footwork, skills, wonderful passing and incredible teamworkhahahaha..like real. We would love to be appreciated LOL.. All the talk about our football talents..and no evidence to show it in the blog. I guess puting up some videos of ourself playing @ the field or street soccer courts thrashing some noob team will hopefully attract more female fans and also more players. So far 'business' has been good..With teams that we defeated before asking for rematches and we the skopet kids 'psycho-ing' our cousins and relatives to play for the team.

To recognise the hard work of our players..Awards such as Golden Ball ( Best Player ) , Golden Boot (Top scorer) , Golden gloves ( Best Goalkeeper ) and many other awards..Haha..If this goes on..Everyone in the team will get some award...Lame ones that is..Ah..The winners would get a packet of chicken flavoured twisties and a voucher to come half an hour late for training @ the soccer courts for 3 times..
Ok mati kutu..haha..That's all from me Robinho BoyBoyan(7).. Would I get to play as a striker during this sunday game? hmmm..I think the team should stick to the winning team and not make any major changes..Hahahahaha..Sori ah guys aku ade niat nak aim golden boot this season ah.. woot..hahaha.macam betul..

Lookalike
Hi
I'm sure most of you have come across celebrity-lookalike articles in magazines or online in which pictures of less famous people are compared with the more illustrious celebrities they resemble. Well for some the resemblances can be uncanny while for others they're just plain lame. I thought it would be nice to have one for the blog featuring our players. I mean.. just for fun.. ok here goes..
first up.. we have boyboyan and samuel eto..
wooott.. like brothers rite? bagai pelanduk hitam dua serupa. haha. by the way boyboyan likes to wear a barca jersey and celebrates a goal the same way too.. coincidence huh. wasted ah dlm gambar ni boyboyan tak tunjuk gigi. actually sama putih sey.
next is syahirsson and the master.... yoda!
ok im just kidding on this one of course. Everyone knows syahir is gremlin. haha no offence, syahir. the only similarity is they're both small but fast and skillful. ahha jgn main2. syahir is our midfield dynamo. or dynamo midfield our syahir is.. haha.
Im too lazy to carry on for today so i guess i'll carry on in the next post. next up we will have abghidung, tempeh,sop and others, so stay tuned.

Hi guys,
Its been a while since my last post. My apologies; been busy lately with the running of the team. right. hyuk hyuk. macam mana nye pro club je. At least I contribute ar not like someone who concentrates on his blog je. faham2 je eh sape.. takde teamwork sey budak tu.
Ok anyway as we welcome the new year with whatever possible short-lived resolutions we may have in mind, lets take a moment to reflect on the eventful year that was 2006 - at least for the skopetians.
Skopet as a footballing force on the field was conceived in mid june. Previously we only played court soccer in residential and school soccer courts. After finding a reliable keeper in Rudy dig didi, we hastily entered Topper Cup; a platform to showcase our talent. The rest as they say is history.
We won many friendlies- ada power trashing, ada hard-fought wins, ada how-the-hell-we-win kind of wins and even tasted our first defeat in the later part of the year. We performed okay in nondescript tournament like Nus open (third place) in September and some RC competition.
Although the core of the team consist of the group that grew up together from the bpghs to pjc days, many other players have since come and established themselves. Notable additions that are now an integral part of the team includes Rudy, Zai, Prem, Saliman and Suhaimi. And even recently we acquired a new sweeper, Eng Choon, a friend of Rudy n Boyboyan. From what i've seen in the last match, definitely a good addition. Welcome dude. Make yourself at home.
We made many friends through soccer and certainly many more enemies. Apa nak buat orang jeles ngan kita. haha. Everyone knows skirmishes in soccer games or other sports are not uncommon but thankfully so far nothing serious happened except for one taik gondol team which kicked Prem's behind.hahah. Other than that Toyol Gemok will always be in the centre of controversy.. Rilek ar toyol.. "u racist ah?".. lol. asik nak gadoh je.
Prior to exams we even had overnight study sessions in school where some of us did more sleeping than studying. (refer to earlier posts). haha. We had fun though and our results also not bad pe. kan? kan?
In November Boyboyan experimented with a team blog which proved to be a hit. Lol puj sendiri.
The initial aim was to publicise the team in hope of getting opponents for friendlies but the blog has since evolved into a tool for poking fun at others bar the occasional match reports. haha TAGBOARD.. jgn cakap. dah jadi contactSOP board and space for merepek comments by strangers and friends alike. The blog is currently maintained by
boyboyan, abghidung and myself ;
maradona. True heroes ar these guys.
What else happened in 2006 for us? Too many things to mention but as a group thats about it. Our plan to mandi laut for the year never materialised eh? Tak pasal ah aku dah cukup vacation pon lol.
ok bottomline, I'd like to wish all readers a Happy New Year and may 2007 be a meaningful and blissful year for you. Amin.

Hi
I'm sure most of you have come across celebrity-lookalike articles in magazines or online in which pictures of less famous people are compared with the more illustrious celebrities they resemble. Well for some the resemblances can be uncanny while for others they're just plain lame. I thought it would be nice to have one for the blog featuring our players. I mean.. just for fun.. ok here goes..
first up.. we have boyboyan and samuel eto..
wooott.. like brothers rite? bagai pelanduk hitam dua serupa. haha. by the way boyboyan likes to wear a barca jersey and celebrates a goal the same way too.. coincidence huh. wasted ah dlm gambar ni boyboyan tak tunjuk gigi. actually sama putih sey.
next is syahirsson and the master.... yoda!
ok im just kidding on this one of course. Everyone knows syahir is gremlin. haha no offence, syahir. the only similarity is they're both small but fast and skillful. ahha jgn main2. syahir is our midfield dynamo. or dynamo midfield our syahir is.. haha.
Im too lazy to carry on for today so i guess i'll carry on in the next post. next up we will have abghidung, tempeh,sop and others, so stay tuned.

Its been a while since my last post. My apologies; been busy lately with the running of the team. right. hyuk hyuk. macam mana nye pro club je. At least I contribute ar not like someone who concentrates on his blog je. faham2 je eh sape.. takde teamwork sey budak tu.
Ok anyway as we welcome the new year with whatever possible short-lived resolutions we may have in mind, lets take a moment to reflect on the eventful year that was 2006 - at least for the skopetians.
Skopet as a footballing force on the field was conceived in mid june. Previously we only played court soccer in residential and school soccer courts. After finding a reliable keeper in Rudy dig didi, we hastily entered Topper Cup; a platform to showcase our talent. The rest as they say is history.
We won many friendlies- ada power trashing, ada hard-fought wins, ada how-the-hell-we-win kind of wins and even tasted our first defeat in the later part of the year. We performed okay in nondescript tournament like Nus open (third place) in September and some RC competition.
Although the core of the team consist of the group that grew up together from the bpghs to pjc days, many other players have since come and established themselves. Notable additions that are now an integral part of the team includes Rudy, Zai, Prem, Saliman and Suhaimi. And even recently we acquired a new sweeper, Eng Choon, a friend of Rudy n Boyboyan. From what i've seen in the last match, definitely a good addition. Welcome dude. Make yourself at home.
We made many friends through soccer and certainly many more enemies. Apa nak buat orang jeles ngan kita. haha. Everyone knows skirmishes in soccer games or other sports are not uncommon but thankfully so far nothing serious happened except for one taik gondol team which kicked Prem's behind.hahah. Other than that Toyol Gemok will always be in the centre of controversy.. Rilek ar toyol.. "u racist ah?".. lol. asik nak gadoh je.
Prior to exams we even had overnight study sessions in school where some of us did more sleeping than studying. (refer to earlier posts). haha. We had fun though and our results also not bad pe. kan? kan?
In November Boyboyan experimented with a team blog which proved to be a hit. Lol puj sendiri.
The initial aim was to publicise the team in hope of getting opponents for friendlies but the blog has since evolved into a tool for poking fun at others bar the occasional match reports. haha TAGBOARD.. jgn cakap. dah jadi contactSOP board and space for merepek comments by strangers and friends alike. The blog is currently maintained by
boyboyan, abghidung and myself ;
maradona. True heroes ar these guys.
What else happened in 2006 for us? Too many things to mention but as a group thats about it. Our plan to mandi laut for the year never materialised eh? Tak pasal ah aku dah cukup vacation pon lol.
ok bottomline, I'd like to wish all readers a Happy New Year and may 2007 be a meaningful and blissful year for you. Amin.
