Science Open
Hi guys,
This blog has been quiet for almost 10 days. Kenape eh? Kalah eh guys?? Oi Boyboyan dah kalah takde match report pe? Hahaha.
Ok as you guys know by now, we lost our last match against Rudy's ultra-defensive Engineering side 1-0. I shall not go into details cos it was a match to forget. For many reasons. First half we did okay ah. Second half sume off form. haha. But then theres really nothing to be ashamed of. We were missing 6 key players -Syahir, Engchoon,Syahid, Hatta, Syaf, and Rudy and playing with 3 unfamiliar faces. (ok excuses. biase ah kata self attribution error) Oklah admit it 2nd half main berterabuh. We lost to a better organised side with a resilient defence and a lucky striker. Lol. France pon kalah to Greece pe.
Anyway congrats to Engineering and gud luck for the IFG final. And also thanks to James and my 2 young cousins; Azri and Iskandar for coming down to make the team. Sorry you guys didnt see the real Skopet. Kalau onform kitorang mcm brazil ah. haha. Jgn serik2 abg fad ajak main match. haha.
The last match highlighted a trend in our defeats(only 2 in friendlies and both by 1 goal). Most importantly we were without our regular goalkeeper, Rudy (luckily Rudy is in our team, as an opponent irritating sey. haha gurau dok) and our talismanic morale-lifting star player Prodigy Syaf. If this is a weakness, the skopet management board will definitely go into the summer transfer market to buy more of these players.
Back to my main point of this post, Science open futsal, this Saturday morning at Nus SRC court. Currently sending one team, Syahir,Zai,Rizman,Sop,Fad,Ahmad,Herman. The rest of you guys interested contact Boyboyan cepat. Bole bikin 1 more team.

Skopet Fc congratulates an old friend,
Rostieyanti on her wedding held yesterday 11 March. Semoga mahligai yang dibina berkekalan hingga ke akhir hayat. Amin
Ros was schmate/classmates to 8 of the current Skopetians (sop,man etc) during the kentalan days in BPGHS. She used to sit beside me in our sec 4 classes during which she would spend more time talking than paying attention to the teacher. Lol. I always knew she would be one of the first to settle down. What I didnt imagine was her tying the knot with her then-bf in sec 4, whom we know as Oon. A nice guy btw. What i meant was.. fuhh..lama dok.. 7 years. Salute u ah. apa secret eh? Some of the skopetians cant even maintain a relationship for 3 months. haha. budak2 nalo.
Anyway thanks for inviting us. We did rush down after our game (dengan tak mandi) but you were already off to the groom's side. Spoil plan kita nak show off silat lawak. haha. More importantly spoil plan SOP to interrupt the wedding ala hindustan. hahaha. Dah lah sop. Yang sudah tu sudah.
It was nice meeting up with old schmates like Kayizam,Fihrin,Zul, Diyanah, Zainab, Ina, Yann and (Sofhia .... NOT!). These guys never changed one bit. Kitorang pulak semua dah macam pakcik2 ah. mature. LOL.
So the million dollar question is.. who's next? Many have their money on toyol gemok who is extremely committed to his current beau and making money. Or it could be Prodigy Syaf who is ever the diam2 lepu type. Silent killer. haha who knows.

series of unfortunate events
Shocking news! ....
Syahir gremlin had met with a
brutal traffic accident late last night after watching the chealsea game at jurong west. He was on the way back after sending Zai home when the accident happened/ (rasa guilty tak zai? haha).
Apparently it was caused by.. siape lagi, the motorcyclists' number one enemy; taxi drivers. Yes , those irresponsible road menace + morons usually in the form of balding apeks with mukas nak kena rembat sampai pecah.
Our syahirsson was conveyed by an ambulance to NUH.. where our worst fear was confirmed by the doctors..
Syahir will be out of this sundays's game!! Oh no.. especially as we will be up against Rudy's engineering team which have 3 of Skopet's best in their lineup -> Syafii, Hatta and Rudy. sigh.
But pls dont worry dear readers, Skopet still have more than enough quality to weather this storm. so watch out Engine! Tapi mana kita nak carik goalkeeper ah? haha. Ok this post is getting too lengthy, time to stop.But before that I have a couple of announcements to make.
1) Our scout, toyol gemok have informed me that Fahmi from Arts is interested to play for us. His quality is evident. A tricky winger who likes to run with the ball. But will he fit in the team? How guys?.. what do you think. Pls vote at our poll in skopet's yahoogroups.
2) We will also be buying a new kit for the team. Too many players without jerseys. The team photo displayed at this blog is that of the Classic Skopet team of 06. The team has since evolved with the addition of many new players. The new kit will either be white or blue. Our logistics IC Boyboyan will be in-charge of this so pls give him your full support.
3) We are fully booked for games for the next 3 weeks. I have many offers from other teams wanting to have a friendly with us. Teams that we have defeated pon asik mintak rematch je. Dah kalah sudah lah.. takkan nak kalah lagi... haha hubris. But then again it seems like everyone wants a piece of us so lets be on our toes.
4)This week's game - 3pm. Fuchun Secondary. Yellow Kit. (bring along the Red kit for phototaking after the game). SMS or email me your availability by Wednesday.

What is happening to our goal-scoring mojo?
Wassup guys.. It has been almost 2 weeks since the last post..Just been busy and of course a bit lazy to post something...haha..So far so good..The rate viewers or visitors to this blog has been steady. Hmm..can't wait for the next post eh? addicted to the best blog in the world? LOL..haha.. Anyway the skopet kids are going global...Kata reputation dah up babe..haha..Crap..I getting more and more 'taber' when come to posting..Maybe ran out of ideas of what to insert in all these posts..Pardon me for not putting the 'Featured player of the month/week' as I promised a long time ago..Its just that..the skopet kids are a bunch of shy boys who feel uncomfortable taking pictures...malu konon..Sap ah..haha..
Ok back to track..ah..We had a friendly match just yesterday against an unknown team @ fuhua sec. The opponents are mainly from the west side just like us..Looks promising in giving us a real challenge. Its been a long long time since the skopets been tested.haha...
From the kickoff onwards..we were just too dominationg lol..But problem is we can;t score. haha.. Ok..we played with a 4-3-3 formation with the 3 midfield having free roles..and it was flawless. We controlled the mid field especially with our new signing Hatta. Super player.. The player we been searching for a long time. A defensive midfielder who can hold and distribute the ball..on top of that win the ball back once we lost possession.. Welcome dude..make urself @ home..we will come up with a nickname for you soon lol..(anyway guys..this guy defected from his team to play in our team...hmmm..I can;t remember if he paid to play in our team..hahahahaha..Winning team..who in the right mind would not play..) dot dot dot..
With crisp passing and total football..we move the ball ard like nobody's business..but not penetrative enough..Everytime that final touch or kick towards goal fail us...So it was 0-0 at half time..Our defence was solid as ever with the addtion of cyborg defenders imported by Rudy.. Staying with skopet guys? hmmm..hahahaha...A few wasted chances..by myself and the babybear..Our mojo is gone..we need to get it back..or it will be the end of the world..tolong!!!! No score = no bual2 world = more critics = more demoralising by own teammates ....bodoh..haha..
2nd half my back go re-injured.. and was playing upfront as a striker..but was kinda ineffective..shooting was off..positioning too..so a few changes were made..and of course..the on-form syafiq with his mazy dribbles..evaded defenders before unleashing an unstoppable shot..when the opponent's keeper stood no chance..Well done syafiq..Again u score the winning goal..2 match in a row..keep it up..
Everyone did their part..Prem ( after a long absence due to commitments) made a comeback..Sop empet was tired and did his best..Toyol gemuk herman still need to go to the gym to train his leg power...haha..Dribble lawa2..tapi shoot takde strength.. zai rubber legs was outstanding in the defensive midfield scope..together with hatta.. Syahir gremlin was there to provide more depth to the attackers. Defenders were awesome.Rudy dig didi was at his usual 'tarabeng' mode to control the defense. He made a beautiful save to deny a powerful shot from the striker..Power dega ...well done guys..I salute you..Keep it up..and of course I will do my best too in the next match..hahahaha..kao..I sound so serious in this post..dot dot dot..Final score was 1-0 though.

Its flattering to me and Syaf but I must say and Syaf will agree that no one person makes the team. No one is indispensable. We all work together.
