Controversy, drama, action, beautiful and ugly soccer. 64 teams going at it. That was what happened today in the MDIS Street Soccer Challenge. Personally for me, it doesn't matter if we still didn't get the championship because I am proud and impressed by the way each of every Skopet Trilogy played today.
Skopet Identity, my team, managed to go far till the last 16 round. We were like Argentina. Performed very well until the the match we got knocked out from. Over-powered and physically abused. Rizman and myself get thrown around the court and no thanks to the refree. Hah. But still, the good thing was we never gave up and give it our best till the final whistle. Despite being eliminated, we did well in the early stages playing our usual Skopet Soccer. I didn't score today because I lost my concentration sia...
The only Skopet team that didn't catch a break but great stuff Identity.

Skopet Ultimatum, or "The All Blacks", managed to go till the quarterfinals. 1st they got walked over, then they progress via walk-over. With exactly only 5 men, no subs and Baqir forced to play GK, they still managed to go the quarterfinals. Still, no thanks to the refree.

Finally, the team that was written off and critized, with an unbelivable odds of 1/4 times how many egoistic heads to the power of empet, Skopet Supremacy managed to clinched the 4th position in the whole tournament. They were like France of 2006. Ugly wins in the early stage but after a twist of fate and a few livid opponents who we can't understand the words that were coming out of their mouth, Skopet Supremacy find their form and made it all the way to the semifinals. But too bad 100 bucks was determined by penalty kicks.

Although 4th(how fated..), but "the important thing is they lose..."
Kudos to Skopet. We did our best and of course we can do better.
Championship doesn't matter.
It's whether that cute girl is noticing you and was impressed by your performance. Or that girl working in the cd store or those eating at Swensen's.
Most importantly we did our best, performed and never gave out without a fight.
It ain't over till the fat bear roars...

yes, well done everyone.. even though we didnt win anything, we had fun and gained valuable experience - it was a good tournament with many good teams. I will try to bring more of such competitions to u guys.. tak pandang per..?
