six on the trot
Skopet maintained its fine form with a 1-0 win over Benedetto Fc on Saturday, extending its winning streak to six games. A superb long range effort by Prem the man was enough to secure a win over the AFL outfit. The central midfield trio of Zai, Prem and Arfan/Zali worked hard to dictate play and made light of Hatta's absence.
It was a relatively even game, with the skopet defence putting up a solid show to earn another clean sheet. The opponents kept going and didnt give up but their attack was foiled again and again by our stubborn defence led by Prodigy Syaf. Abghidung did very well in his 20mins cameo role, proving his determination to break into the first team.
At the other end, Sop Pet and Syahir gremlin came close to increasing the scoreline. Hesitation, misunderstanding and hard luck prevented the skopet offense from scoring. Basically we didnt make our chances count. Lets work on this before Sunday's tournament.
Training this Thursday, 4.30 pm, venue to be confirmed. Reply here.Once again, well done guys. Keep it up. Friendly matches are officially on hold until after the exams. This Sunday's game will be the last till then.
