2nd trophy in 10 days

A Third place finish by Skopet, representing Ar-Raudhah mosque in the recent IRCC Cup organised by Liahua Commitee on 18 Nov. We won 5 games, drew 1 and lost 1(semi-final to a Boyan team) to clinch the bronze cup.


That particular loss was heartbreaking as the winning goal was claimed under dubious conditions. An opponent's cornerkick seemed harmless enough for a routine collection by our gk Rudy, before a guest apperance by an overgrown pokok changed the trajectory of the ball which eventually landed to a highly opportunistic and UNETHICAL striker who poked the ball home. Screams of protest was ignored by the referee who signalled the end minutes later. WTF!

Feeling cheated and disappointed, the Skopet players regained their composure to win the 3rd/4th placing against our nemesis, the veteran 'bual world' team. Interestingly the referee was actually part of their 11-a-side team which we faced in a friendly earlier. Hmmm.. WTF! haha. Alak! Alak! Sop pet got a yellow card for screaming " PICIT BUAH! REFF!!" in a response to the opponents gay tactics. hahaha kesian sop. Nasib baik opponents tak try grab aku. Terperanjat berok nanti kalau terasa balls of steel.


Again, well done guys. Heads up. Third is better than nothing. it could have been worse.. like pet placing hahah.
