the missing match report
Anyone knows what happened to Zaibacul? He's supposed to write the match report but has since been MIA. Lazy bugger. Your petulance will be rewarded with a place on the bench tomorrow. For the full 90 mins! haha.
The thing about writing match report so late is that you tend to forget some details of the match itself. Ill try to recollect as accurately as possible.
We scored another empet goals in our last game against Prem's friend's team, who have yet to get themselves a name. This newly-formed team without jerseys jolted us from our laidbackness and complacency in the opening minutes by grabbing the lead through a corner. Zai bacul failed to clear a cross coming his way when their unmarked rightback power-volleyed the ball into the net. Admittedly shoddy defending by Skopet.
But the goal proved to be the turning point in the game with the Skopet players stepping up a gear and showing greater intent and urgency with every move. The introduction of a fasting SopPet into left wing created more penetration and balance in the attack while Syahir gremlin's influence in the right flank is beginning to show.
After a string of chances, Prodigy syaf finally equalised with a well calculated freekick which got us on our way to a comfortable victory. Syahir gremlin combined well with Evan/Toyol and scored a beautiful goal off a series of one-twos.
Myself added another before the break by capitalising on the miscommunication between their keeper and last man. Elsewhere Toyol had a glorious chance in front of goal but missed after deciding not to try with his left leg. 3-1 at half time.
Zai came on as a striker in the second half and was unlucky not to score. Still yet to score as a striker for Skopet. Will he ever break his duck?
Attacking midfielder Evan came agononisingly close to scoring a super goal from Sop's cross. The midfield was superbly dominated by Prodigy Syaf who neutralised the threat of the opponent's best player. Syaf stamped his authority and class on this frustrated player by winning the ball fairly and keeping his cool despite being shackled countless times. The lesser player than turned his attention to Evan who unfortunately did earn a yellow card in the end. hahah.
Sop pet fittingly scored the 4th goal with a thunderous kurang ajar volley into the roof of the net to wrap up another convincing win.
Kudos to the defence who closed up shop immediately after the first goal. Boyboyan was fierce as a last man working with Jiaming, Husni, Fish and and Ahmad who stopped all the opponents' advances. Rudy as usual was making class saves everytime a shot was on target.
Man of the match = Syaf - stabilised the midfield in his DM role and ran and ran till he had to be subbed. haha.
A rather long match report. Better appreciate it.

I have spoken to our cikgu ref and secured the Lianhua field on a weekly basis. However, he says that he doesnt have many more teams' contacts, as most of them we've already beaten. So in future we need to find our own opponents. Ref mario on the other hand does not have a better field to offer other than that landmine in lim chu kang, and so, at such we wont be seeing him in the near future.
Everyone pls help find quality opponents. As always.
Match report one week overdue. My bad..been so lazy the last few days.
Opponent was the same veteran team we beaten 1-0 not long ago. Guess they wanted to avenge that defeat . They just cannot accept the fact that luck plays part in soccer.haha..But this time skopet do not have to rely on luck to beat them again. In fact , we thrashed them this time..Ooops. That sounds so very rude..LOL. but that's true..
With our cyborq defenders coming back , Prodigy syaf and myself BoyBoyan could finally play outside the defence department. Jason , Husni , Choon , Jiaming and Weiming did very well against their attack and also occasionally violent conduct lol..Tak padan tua.. Even aged players cannot keep they elbows and hands to themselves..hahhaha..But shit happens. We kept our cool and proceed with the game. First 20 minutes of the match , we were on the backfoot. Always losing possession and constantly defending deep in our half. They somehow have 2 playmakers in their team and they made life difficult for us with their through balls Skopet FC definately need a player like this. Our midfielders consisted of Adik Sal, Prem , Sop Pet , Zai Bacul , Syaf , Syahir gremlin , Hatta and the 10 minute man( zul). With so many midfielders , we have yet to come up with a proper midfield system for them lol.. But in this game we played the usual 4-4-2. with the goal scoring machine Baby bear..........Not..and myself as strikers..
Found myself free at the right wing after receiving a pass from Adik Sal..Ran down the flanks before releasing a pass which was deflected by a defender to the path of Fadly. With his back on the goal , he took the ball and did this trademark ' turn and shoot'. The slippery field surface did the shot good..when it slither pass the defenders and beat the goalkeeper at the bottom left corner..Wow. 1-0 to Skopet FC..I did my best througout with senseless running and getting offsides for no apparent reason. A hard fight in the first half but it was a different story in the 2nd half.
Zai bacul added extra dimension in the striker department when he played as '3rd striker'. Sop and Syahir terrorised the veteran's team full backs with their trickey and pace..Hatta and Syaf contained thier playmakers and of course win back the ball when we lose possession. Counter attack was the game. Won a free kick outside their penalty box and Prem delivered a superb curler to get us 2-0 ahead. That settled us down. The 10-minute man Zul came to replace him and him playing the right wing..had a few open chances to score..Good work dude..Next up 15 minutes ok? Attack after attack we conjured..AN accidental one-two from me and sop pet after a corner resulted in another goal with their goalkeep ending riding on top of sop..after the goal lol..Brutal but a goal is a goal..3-0 it was. Zul dissappeared after that..Where he go?
Rudy was in his game commanding the defense line and assisted the 4th goal scored by Fad. An awesome display by our captain......Not.. A long drop kick from Rudy. Amazingly with 2 defenders, the ball found itself in front of fadly only with the goalkeeper to beat. A sweet powerful placed shot to kill the game for us..Empet -0 ...Cheers guys..Another legendary perfomance by us..Keep it up for nx game..

Shit all over the place.
Sup peeps..been so long since i blog..Woot..Feels good. Haha..We had our first friendly after a long long break. Ah yes...We just got back from KL. A few things i must add to what baby bear has written in his post regarding the KL trip.LOL.
- Toyol gemuk and Baby Bear gained 4kilos. One of the reasons why they were so screwed up during the friendly game last saturday. Too much subway sandwiches, donuts and kenny rodgers ..warung hamed and its speciality..nasi beriani ayam madu..End result = huge blobs of meat trying to play soccer..
-The birth of the golden boys... A sub faction of skopet FC. ultra cool..chicks magnet anytime.
Founder = Giltter hair gel - gold colour duh..Members - who else but the awesome golden toyol, golden gremlin , golden pet and golden boyboyan..hahahahaha..as always 4 members..
too much messing ard..Our perfomance on the field was way below par..But enough to earn a draw for skopet..
Back to the match proper..it was a mendak match with both sides..losing the ball as soon as they get the ball...With equal chances of scoring..Opponent was the kids we usually play at the street soccer court..Small world..Only 2 players was up to standard that game..Prodigy syaf and Rudy dig didi..Even myself was still having hangovers...Kelab malam mili..Power dega..Haha..Almost assisted the opposition team twice during the game to score against us..ish ish..Jiaming the cyborg defender was back..Hatta,Syahir,Zul and Arfan was doing fine in the centre of the park..But it was a bit dissappointing in our attacking department. Fadly Baby bear was trying to get fresh with our new youth, Annas..Nak cium pun discrete sikit boy..hahaha..Herman Toyol gemuk was weak in the knees..kaki je besar..tapi weak..Lemau..Sop empet was in another world..paham2 je lah...woot.
Tmr we having a game with an unknown team @ Lianghua primary skool field. 5pm guys. Anything msg the captain. Team list? Dun ask me..I won't know..I am a just player for the team..the most capped skopet player that is...hahah..bual2 world..

- 5/01/08 - vs unknown team @ Lianhua Pri. 5 pm- White kit.
- 9/01/08 - vs unknown team @Lianhua Pri. 3 pm. - Blue kit.
- Also take note team TCC has proposed to play a match 2nd Feb saturday, but 10 in the morning.
- Fico part III will be on thursday 3/01 or friday.

skopets conquered KL
Mission accomplished in Msia's capital. Ate a lot, shopped a lot and of course captured lots of KLians hearts. Skopet maintained discipline and decency throughout the short trip. Rite.. We even had to restrain adik sal, who wanted to settle for Kelab Malam Mei Lee across the hotel after missing out on Zouk's christmas party.
Learnt lots more details of fellow skopetians. Some of the useless info are :
>Syaf's bedtime is 10pm.. or earlier!
>Boyboyan,Syahir,Toyol n Sop Pet are actually budak taik wannabes.(look at their hair)
>Herman really loves KFC and is the new Minister Muai for Skopet.
>Sop Pet sux at Uno, and resorts to cheating. Imagine 3 consecutive +4s ... haha kata sop pet.
>When buying a box of dunkin donuts(12 pieces), Adik sal would choose the same flavour for all which is his favourite.
>Adik Sal or Ahmad Tempe tak tau pakai bedak. Berterabuh satu bilik. ishk..
>Syaf dont like to bathe before sleeping..
>Syahir Gremlin has a bantal busuk..
> And finally.. Ahmad tempe is murphy's law embodied, infecting anyone near him.. "whatever can go wrong will DEFINITELY go wrong".. for example.. in a briyani house I asked for some chilli (sauce) to go with our food. The mamak came back with chopped chillies. haha.
