Skopet swept another honour in the month of march by winning in the NUS Fiesta Beach soccer 2008 yesterday. Thats 4 medal finishes in the first half of what seemed like an increasing fruitful year.

We decided to join last-min upon persistent harrasment from toyol who is determined to get his maiden tournament win for skopet. With our referee unable to secure the usual friendly, Boyboyan, Toyol, Soppet, Gremlin,Tempeh, Adiksal and myself captain marvel travelled all the way to sentosa to don the skopet colours.

Motivation was quite low since we're all beach soccer virgins with no training. Sop, Syahir,Saliman even came 2 hrs late! ish ish..
The idea was to have fun and then mandi laut. But we accidentally won the whole thing. A very slow start with couple of 1-1 draws courtesy of us conceding a min after scoring. Needing a win to qualify and the score tied at 1-1, we somehow got another 4 goals to win 5-1.

We beat new friends lashearutsusu fc 3-0 in in the semis b4 finishing henry's team via sop's golden goal in the final. Well done skopet wildboyz. Our usual slick passing and attacking play successfully translated onto beach soccer. Sop was top scorer with 4(haha), organiser of the day herman, saliman,syahir n me with 2 goals a piece. Great teamwork guys. Herman's performance-enhancing drug Kuku Bima worked wonders for a lethargic team..

And ahmad dah boleh bilang mak dia, dia menang.. baik ah ahmad. Ohh before that the hot-tempehed ahmad led the skopet players to a dispute with the organiser about zouk complimentary passes.. haha wtf. No comments.
