The designing team is undivided on the animal which can symbolize us and thus needs your help.
Husni suggested wolves cos of our solid teamwork and tenacity, the way we hunt down opponents in 'packs'. Ju suggested rooster cos she thinks its stylo like the french team logo, and other brands ala le coq sportif. Adiksal wants a scorpion to take centrestage. He said something abt his army company being scorpion or something and that it gives us an image of 'lethalness'. lol. I do have some suggestions too. How about proboscis monkey? for obvious reasons, right hus? or bonobo monkeys, seeing we're all very social creatures with lots of loving. haha. Whateva it is, decide fast. Voting lines are open. Pls leave a comment here stating ur preference, or any other suggestion.

Most likely lineup for tmrw. Again as we just discussed after mindcafe outing yesterday, shortage of players. Rizman, Ahmad Faisal, Jason, Fish are all unavailable tomorrow. Which leaves Choon and husni our only established defenders.
Suhaimi and me will cover at fullbacks, if theres no other alternative tmrw and if rudy's confident of this backline.
Whatever it is, we'll try our best. So stop whining bitches.

I just got back from a meeting with the jersey supplier. For those who still dont know, we've decided to get a 3rd kit. A cheap, simple one. Why, u may ask?
Well for starters, some of our regular players like Fish, Evan, Jason still do not have our white kit. Our blue kit on the other hand is
fast disappearing. New additions like Ahmad Faisal, Is, Mar and the likes have neither. Thus there is a need for a more professional look. Look at this pic from Team Orange's blog. I see Team Orange in orange. And skopet in 3 shades of blue. haha wtf.
After much discussion, the ladies team have decided to get a blue kit - their first jersey. Since we currently don blue(away), white(home) and used to wear red/yellow, the only fresh available colors for the same design as them are orange or black. So pls vote which one guys.
We also need a
logo. A.S.A.P. cos it comes free 2-color printing included in the price of the jersey+number. Everyone pls come try and come up with one in the next few days.
A few questions/tips to help with the design.
First, whats the most significant thing about skopet? ---> Lets see.. The number 4 of course.. the sasuls? brand mizuna.. peach fruit etc.
Animal motifs would be easier ---> Proboscis monkey? hahah. Bear? no thanks.
what about a motto? ---> this is easy... TAK PANDANG PER!! or Rizman's favret, but too long line, "

Oranged
Ah yes. The wonderful feeling of victory. Match report 2 days overdue but who cares. Haha. Pasal ah..Biar lambat asal ade. LOL. Our opponent was Team Orange. A well established side with orange-colour jerseys duh. To sum it all up , its been a while since we had a good workout at the field. Felt great. Kudos to team orange for giving us a hard fight. First of all , I had predicted it to be game where we will struggle as many of our first teamers were not playing due to commitments and injuries. But in the end , we had 5 reserves. WTF. hahahahah.
Our guest players include Fadly's cousin and secondary school senior 'Mar' ,Hidayat, Adik sal's cousin and one of his frens and lastly Zali's fren. I was a bit taken back by the number of players who arrived at the pitch. As they said , the more the merrier. Haha. But when u think about it , more players = less playing time for some players. Tak muai kalo bayar full. Somebody scored a goal and think he can get away with it wihout paying the game fees. LOL. ish ish ish. Ok match report proper. A short one cos i forgot the details. With the return of choon , our defence looks pretty solid and stood firm whenever team orange tried to attack.
Our midfielders dominate the center of the park in the early stages with some good passing and good communication. A good break at the left side of the pitch enabled Mar to drift free and skipped past one defender and took a shot cum cross. Team orange goalkeeper only managed to parry the ball away to Baby bear who simply tap the ball in. 1-0 it was halfway thru the 1st half. Nice one boys. Had a few other half chances but it was team orange who almost got the equaliser through a corner. Jason was there to clear the ball of the line at the far post.
2nd half was a different story. Skopet players getting tired i can say. Rolling substitutions at our side. LOL. Futsal kape. We played well with team orange keeping the pressure. We got our 2nd goal from our
classico skopeto striker , Man Toyol. Despite his massive bottom , he managed to get away from his marker and latched onto a through ball by our midfilder. Free on goal , he took almost a long time get the ball into the net.Hahahaah. Slow and steady . Job done with a nicely placed toepoke near the bottom right corner. One of the orange defenders tried to clear the slow moving ball of the line but to no avail. Nice try mate but not nice enough. Hahaha. Nasib badan.
With the goal , we sat back and it could have backfired on us with Team orange testing the Skopet defence like water. But as always , the defence stood like a wall with lots of cover from the midfielders. Wholesome.
2-0 was the final score. A great win in my opinion. Keep it up.
Haiz.. I am doubtful for this Saturday's match due to marriage. Eh not me pls , it's my cousin's. If I miss this one , this would be only the 2nd time in 45 games. Hahaha. Kata most decorated and most capped skopet player. Legend. LOL.

11 more days to the BBQ Big Bash.. The ladies, especially their captain, is already berating me for not planning properly. ishk. Relax la. chill. We abang2 stable will definitely get the job done. Always perform on and off the field. Role models la katakan.
So this is a chalet admin post. Its at Downtown East, 6th june, Blk No. (Zai insert here pls)

Syaf and Syahir especially, the 2 skopet pillars, pls get to work. Ive had feedback that bbqwholesale is too ex with meagre portions. In that case just order stuff that are difficult for us to prepare, e.g buffalo wings n wateva that needs marinating. The rest as usual we'll get at shengshiong and wet markets the day before. Remember our satay marinated prawns last yr. lol. Target is
25-30 pax. Team leader syaf take note.
Logistics i/c Herman and Yusuf also get to work. groundsheet, table clothes, utensils etc. Minister Muai herman can use his expertise for this.
The new treasurer is Rizman. Since Husni is useless with numbers. So pls pay whateva sum he asks you by this weekend.

tough times
Again, for the second time in as many weeks, Skopet is robbed off many first teamers including
Syahir, Prem, Syafii , Sop , Hatta , Evan, Zali, Husni, and Jiaming(long term) through a myriad of circumstances.
Tomorrow evening against Team Orange, the team we'll be fielding will be almost unrecognisable, with 4 guest players courtesy of adikSal's contacts and my cousin Iskandar (who will be late). This will be a test of our character; see how we respond when the chips are down. Amcam ladies team nak back up tak? haha.
Its not all doom and gloom. The rock Choon is back from his holidays and will marshall the defence comprising of reliable Jason and mercenary Suhaimi (K2p ke Skopet?).
However an attacking trio of Herman, Aza and Fad will be interesting to watch. Haha bismillah.
On a personal note, my shooting has been alarmingly atrocious in recent weeks. Field, Street, Fico, whateva ,I just can hit the target. Time to hang up my boots?

First of all, if it wasnt obvious enough, the last post was by
Zaibacul. Secondly I would like to apologise for blasting the ball to the moon in front of goal after a superb pass by syahir.
Nonetheless with the defeat out of the way, we can now focus on another unbeaten run. The previous record is 17. Lets start the ball rolling this weekend. Im sure all are motivated for the next game.
Sat, 24th 5pm @ Fuhua sec. Squad strength is still a concern, but we'll make do with what we have for now. Time to step up.

1st of all, zaibacol is anything but shy. he's anti-social and now rusty in all these multimedia bullshit and nowadays is busy and have many other important things to do. so yarh, yogi bear and booboo will help the ladies team out.
Now for match report.
It's like our 3rd or 4th defeat so far in friendly matches. 1-0. Learn to accept it. Winning and losing are part of games. The point is, do not be so discouraged. zaibacol as always, man enough to admit that he played poorly. tired legs, lack of match fitness. blah blah blah....we created plenty of chances, but somehow, we shoot anywhere but in the back of the net. Prem got a couple of chances but missed out both in front of goal. zai got one chance saved SUPERBLY by the goalkeeper. Aza, syahir and fadly all missed out. And we conceded 1 goal in the 2nd half. couple of slides and challenges here and there, then suddenly a loose ball and the opponent scored.
i'm not saying that we deserved to lose but if we missed all those chances that we should have taken,..ssssssss.... but hey, to some of us its only our 1st game since months, so it's understandable. and we just need a few matches more to get back that crisp street court passing game that we have developed and of course get back match fitness.

Team news ; we have 11 now. But Syahir and zaly are from work and will be late by at least half an hour. In that case we still need 2 players at least. Heres our makeshift formation for tmrw.
Both our wingers sop and adik sal are out for this game, so our usual 4-4-2 wouldnt be practical. So we'll start with Zai's favourite formation. haha.
Dont worry this is just my suggestion, theres bound to be changes due to different circumstances. We have shown how flexible we are over the 2 years (except failing miserably in soak and strike strategy) haha.
Sop, where are our two soccer balls? Bsok kat teenchallenge takkan nak pakai bola adidas baru. too risky. Return the balls pls kalau kau tk turun to support.

Couple of issues.
1) BBQ - chalet date changed to the 7th. Since its already confirmed, the working committee pls start the ball rolling i.e
Syaf n co. do the maths and give a rough budget, treasurer husni start chasing for money. Thank you Zaibacul for booking the chalet. Sopbest pls inform the ladies team captain of the change in date.
2) Discipline - There was an incident after last week's game on the issue of smoking. No it was not adik sal. Apparently our guest players and fan had isap and disposed of the incriminating evidence in the longkang. Now let me underline that this is a
serious matter. The school was furious at the ref who in turn vented it on me. My fault for not briefing the outside players.
Its ironic that a team of non-smokers should have this problem. Henceforth I need everyone to help be vigilant and ensure our 'import' players, fans and opponents do not breach this rule. Another strike and we would lose our homeground status. No kidding.
3) This week we will be up against S team who I assume is a decent side. The loss of 4 key players including talismanic syaf is a big blow to any team. We'll have to dig in deep for this one. Nonetheless the return of Syahirsson, Prem and Zai and Ahmad Faisal is a timely boost to our depleted squad. Lets go for the win. Here is the confirmed playing list.

first game
Nobody wants to put up this match report. Boynalo's keeping mum, whilest zaibacul wasnt there. So here goes my impartial construction of the events that unfolded in the last game.
First game of the season, after weeks of abstinence from soccer, Skopet returned to Lianhua against our arch nemesis the
uncle bual world team. (nobody bothered to ask their name.. but that uncle's name is jason.. so lets call them jason's world team)
The team is missing many players due to work, dating, holidays and the usual stuff. Here I would like share the team's loss of our consistent cyborg defender Jiaming who has returned home to China for the 3 mths term break. With Choon also on holiday, the team is really short at the back. There is a pressing need to recruit quality defenders. Recommendations anyone?
The game revolved around the magical number 4 which is mostly associated with Sop pet. Simple summary of the game ;
*for best effect, pronounce 4 as 'pet'.
We scored 4 goals in the first half.
We conceeded 4 goals in the 2nd half.
Boyboyan became the 4 th skopet player to net a hatrick.
Sop pet was injured.
No. 4 prodigy Syaf was injured.
So what happened in the 2nd half? Complacency? Disorganisation? Lack of match fitness? Unfamiliar faces at the back? Lack of cover? Immobile strike partnership of Fad and Azhar? A hot tempered adiksal? Haha whatever the reasons, a dubious penalty and injuries to sop and syaf which forced them to end early didnt help. We played with 10 and at times 9 men till the end.
Its early times yet, so taking the positives, man of the match boyboyan ensured we maintain the skopet way of football and got us to a winning start in the new season with his final goal.
If we cant keep a clean sheet, we'll definite outscore you. 5-4. Full time. Record against jasons world team = 5 played 5 wins for skopet.

If u think that being bigger and taller, u can get pass him that easily, that's a load of bullshit. Hard-man in the middle of the park, yet tricky, quick pace and fleet-footed. Exquisite touch,creative and square passing range. Well composed on pitch and never blows his top. Seriously people, be modest and cool like him. Take a look at his face. Just take a look at it. Decent,pure and innocent. How can u ever get angry at such a face??..I mean seriously...

One to remember :Kaka-like dribble goal in 2007. In a match we trailed 3-0 at 1st half. he put on a match winning performance by scoring twice and bring skopet back in the game. Not to mention scoring the 100th Skopet goal by missing out 2 games which others could have claimed it.
One to forget : His predictions on the 100th goal. 1st we will not score, 2nd, a rain-off and then finally he scores the 100th goal. Actually, Boynalo and Boyberuang are the ones to forget about this. He broke their hearts.

A good break at the left side of the pitch enabled Mar to drift free and skipped past one defender and took a shot cum cross. Team orange goalkeeper only managed to parry the ball away to Baby bear who simply tap the ball in. 1-0 it was halfway thru the 1st half. Nice one boys. Had a few other half chances but it was team orange who almost got the equaliser through a corner. Jason was there to clear the ball of the line at the far post.
2nd half was a different story. Skopet players getting tired i can say. Rolling substitutions at our side. LOL. Futsal kape. We played well with team orange keeping the pressure. We got our 2nd goal from our
classico skopeto striker , Man Toyol. Despite his massive bottom , he managed to get away from his marker and latched onto a through ball by our midfilder. Free on goal , he took almost a long time get the ball into the net.Hahahaah. Slow and steady . Job done with a nicely placed toepoke near the bottom right corner. One of the orange defenders tried to clear the slow moving ball of the line but to no avail. Nice try mate but not nice enough. Hahaha. Nasib badan.
With the goal , we sat back and it could have backfired on us with Team orange testing the Skopet defence like water. But as always , the defence stood like a wall with lots of cover from the midfielders. Wholesome.
2-0 was the final score. A great win in my opinion. Keep it up.
Haiz.. I am doubtful for this Saturday's match due to marriage. Eh not me pls , it's my cousin's. If I miss this one , this would be only the 2nd time in 45 games. Hahaha. Kata most decorated and most capped skopet player. Legend. LOL.

Again, for the second time in as many weeks, Skopet is robbed off many first teamers including
Syahir, Prem, Syafii , Sop , Hatta , Evan, Zali, Husni, and Jiaming(long term) through a myriad of circumstances.
Tomorrow evening against Team Orange, the team we'll be fielding will be almost unrecognisable, with 4 guest players courtesy of adikSal's contacts and my cousin Iskandar (who will be late). This will be a test of our character; see how we respond when the chips are down. Amcam ladies team nak back up tak? haha.
Its not all doom and gloom. The rock Choon is back from his holidays and will marshall the defence comprising of reliable Jason and mercenary Suhaimi (K2p ke Skopet?).
However an attacking trio of Herman, Aza and Fad will be interesting to watch. Haha bismillah.
On a personal note, my shooting has been alarmingly atrocious in recent weeks. Field, Street, Fico, whateva ,I just can hit the target. Time to hang up my boots?

Zaibacul. Secondly I would like to apologise for blasting the ball to the moon in front of goal after a superb pass by syahir.
Nonetheless with the defeat out of the way, we can now focus on another unbeaten run. The previous record is 17. Lets start the ball rolling this weekend. Im sure all are motivated for the next game.

1st of all, zaibacol is anything but shy. he's anti-social and now rusty in all these multimedia bullshit and nowadays is busy and have many other important things to do. so yarh, yogi bear and booboo will help the ladies team out.
Now for match report.
It's like our 3rd or 4th defeat so far in friendly matches. 1-0. Learn to accept it. Winning and losing are part of games. The point is, do not be so discouraged. zaibacol as always, man enough to admit that he played poorly. tired legs, lack of match fitness. blah blah blah....we created plenty of chances, but somehow, we shoot anywhere but in the back of the net. Prem got a couple of chances but missed out both in front of goal. zai got one chance saved SUPERBLY by the goalkeeper. Aza, syahir and fadly all missed out. And we conceded 1 goal in the 2nd half. couple of slides and challenges here and there, then suddenly a loose ball and the opponent scored.
i'm not saying that we deserved to lose but if we missed all those chances that we should have taken,..ssssssss.... but hey, to some of us its only our 1st game since months, so it's understandable. and we just need a few matches more to get back that crisp street court passing game that we have developed and of course get back match fitness.

Something came up at lianhua, hence the game is moved to our old ground teen challenge, with the return of ref mario. (aku give up!)
Team news ; we have 11 now. But Syahir and zaly are from work and will be late by at least half an hour. In that case we still need 2 players at least. Heres our makeshift formation for tmrw.
Both our wingers sop and adik sal are out for this game, so our usual 4-4-2 wouldnt be practical. So we'll start with Zai's favourite formation. haha.
Dont worry this is just my suggestion, theres bound to be changes due to different circumstances. We have shown how flexible we are over the 2 years (except failing miserably in soak and strike strategy) haha.
Sop, where are our two soccer balls? Bsok kat teenchallenge takkan nak pakai bola adidas baru. too risky. Return the balls pls kalau kau tk turun to support.

Couple of issues.
1) BBQ - chalet date changed to the 7th. Since its already confirmed, the working committee pls start the ball rolling i.e
Syaf n co. do the maths and give a rough budget, treasurer husni start chasing for money. Thank you Zaibacul for booking the chalet. Sopbest pls inform the ladies team captain of the change in date.
2) Discipline - There was an incident after last week's game on the issue of smoking. No it was not adik sal. Apparently our guest players and fan had isap and disposed of the incriminating evidence in the longkang. Now let me underline that this is a
serious matter. The school was furious at the ref who in turn vented it on me. My fault for not briefing the outside players.
Its ironic that a team of non-smokers should have this problem. Henceforth I need everyone to help be vigilant and ensure our 'import' players, fans and opponents do not breach this rule. Another strike and we would lose our homeground status. No kidding.
3) This week we will be up against S team who I assume is a decent side. The loss of 4 key players including talismanic syaf is a big blow to any team. We'll have to dig in deep for this one. Nonetheless the return of Syahirsson, Prem and Zai and Ahmad Faisal is a timely boost to our depleted squad. Lets go for the win. Here is the confirmed playing list.

Nobody wants to put up this match report. Boynalo's keeping mum, whilest zaibacul wasnt there. So here goes my impartial construction of the events that unfolded in the last game.
First game of the season, after weeks of abstinence from soccer, Skopet returned to Lianhua against our arch nemesis the
uncle bual world team. (nobody bothered to ask their name.. but that uncle's name is jason.. so lets call them jason's world team)
The team is missing many players due to work, dating, holidays and the usual stuff. Here I would like share the team's loss of our consistent cyborg defender Jiaming who has returned home to China for the 3 mths term break. With Choon also on holiday, the team is really short at the back. There is a pressing need to recruit quality defenders. Recommendations anyone?
The game revolved around the magical number 4 which is mostly associated with Sop pet. Simple summary of the game ;
*for best effect, pronounce 4 as 'pet'.
We scored 4 goals in the first half.
We conceeded 4 goals in the 2nd half.
Boyboyan became the 4 th skopet player to net a hatrick.
Sop pet was injured.
No. 4 prodigy Syaf was injured.
So what happened in the 2nd half? Complacency? Disorganisation? Lack of match fitness? Unfamiliar faces at the back? Lack of cover? Immobile strike partnership of Fad and Azhar? A hot tempered adiksal? Haha whatever the reasons, a dubious penalty and injuries to sop and syaf which forced them to end early didnt help. We played with 10 and at times 9 men till the end.
Its early times yet, so taking the positives, man of the match boyboyan ensured we maintain the skopet way of football and got us to a winning start in the new season with his final goal.
If we cant keep a clean sheet, we'll definite outscore you. 5-4. Full time. Record against jasons world team = 5 played 5 wins for skopet.

One to forget : His predictions on the 100th goal. 1st we will not score, 2nd, a rain-off and then finally he scores the 100th goal. Actually, Boynalo and Boyberuang are the ones to forget about this. He broke their hearts.

The logo is a very good first attempt. I am thinking that since "invicta" means inconquerable, perhaps we should choose an animal that posseses such indomitable spirit. So the term "invicta" really militates the choice of our animals.
