EngChoon - will be busy and has ruled himself out till probably end of august due to some course.(army i think). We wish you good luck. Your robustness will be missed.
Syafii - the one player we have all been waiting for is still struggling with his last injury. Came down for our last game to support and was seen limping after a few attempts to kick the ball. Slowly syaf, go for treatment la. We do know some ex-sch mates who are physios now. hahah you know who.. sshhh...
Zaly - This senior player has found a new job which demands a 6-day-work week. At such he wont be around on matchdays. What a waste. Nonetheless all the best for your new job.
Jason - Last I heard Jason fractured his wrist. Im not sure doing what.. hmm yeah what happened man?
Zai - The bacul is fast becoming the most ill-disciplined player on the pitch after picking up his 4th yellow card. And hes proud of it. haha wtf. Just dont concede a penalty or get yourself dismissed anytime or we might have to sanction you.
Ahmad Syukri - Ultimate-fringe player Ahmad has suffered a workplace injury to his right hand requiring 9 stitches. Sigh, apa lah baru start keje dah mcm2.
BoyBoyan - has been phenomenal the past weeks. On and off the pitch. Solid as last man and reliable as skopet's treasurer, he even took on the additional role of the ladies' coach. There is something different about rizman nowadays. A certain aura. Makin berseri-seri. Haha wonder whats up.
So to all those nursing battlefield injuries for skopet or hurt through tempeh-like accidents, please take care of yourselves and have a speedy recovery. As well as those hanging up their boots for a while for other commitments, good luck on your pursuits.

The Chronicles of Skopet : The King of Pet, The Syahirsson and "the man who controls the game"
Skopet FC triumph against a very vibrant attacking team lead by "the man who controls the game".
They were so attacking minded that they pushed their defensive line too far off. Even the keeper.
We won. I would not say lucky but I would say opportunistic.
All the goals were score in the 1st half.
Sop pet skillfully heads the ball from a corner with a deliberate deflection of a defender that mislead the opponent's keeper. Yes, he talks to me before the game that he will purposely score a goal via deflection later on and he is sure a man of his words. 2nd goal was from Syahirsson. The opponent's defensive line was way out during our attacking phase and the keeper was caught out of position. Ball eventually went out of play so Adik Sal took the opportunity for a quick throw and Syahirsson with a delightful finish. But the opponent pull out an amazing goal out of nothing. A corner eluded everyone but found one of their man at the other flank. Crossed it in the box and this random guy from their team just cushioned the ball with his chest and blast in a brilliant volley.*jawdrops and eye popped*(hey, i'm just an admirer of beautiful goals). 2nd half we just took advantage of their far off d-line by pumping long balls and thru balls but ended up with nothing. Mr.Asshole is on his way for his 4th yellow card. By the way, the referee had it coming.
Anyway..is it only me noticing that Skopet is getting more technical and missing that free flowing passing game we used to have???...
But then again, like the Special One used to prioritized...winning is everything!!!!...

ANNOUNCEMENT
This sundays' game has been cancelled. Due to the fact that we're short of defenders and also because the opponent has backed out and im too lazy to find a replacement. I suggest we take a break this week and play street soccer/futsal as a team. Maybe at NIE court in the morning with the dragonscage guys, HafizBob and co. Theyre a great bunch to play with.
This saturday however skopet will send a team of 7 players to the mschallengeshield at east coast sports planet. The rest pls come down and support if you're free. Speaks volumes of our unity and teamspirit.

manpower woes
Skopet declares a period of emergency starting today.
Our regular custodian Rudy has a family matter to attend to and might not make it back to Singapore in time for this sat's game. At such, Asri is helping me find a stand-in keeper. If that fails Ill step up to be keeper. Yes me, the one who syaf and ex-bpians will remember letting in a massimo taibi-like goal in an interclass competition. Nevertheless ill try my best. Who has a goalkeeping-for-dummies book?
Our cyborq defenders on the other hand have deserted us for this game. Oi you guys on strike or what?? wtf all cannot play at the same time. Choon, Jason (fractured wrist), Weiming and Fish(reservist) cant make it. Now we really miss
Jiaming's consistency.
Evan and Herman is also out. Hatta is doubtful. damn. lets hope he can make it. No, its
imperative that he makes it.

Burn baby burn!
Last Saturday's match has a few 'never' to begin with. Never had we played on artificial turf for friendly. Never had we been bubbled by someone at the very last minute- not me ah. Never had Choon lost a game with Skopet. Until last Saturday. But all's good people. At least we lose with dignity. Why do I say so? Let's see..
And so we had our match in the prick of noon. The sun's directly above our head in scorching heat. We knew nothing about our opponent other than the fact that they had defeated Team Orange prior to this match at a slightly impressive scoreline. Adding on to this new experience, is the entrance of a new referee whom we grew to hate, Luigi- Ref Mario's other half. Missing out on several players but not handicapped in the confidence department, we hoped for the best out of this match. Beat them to the scoreline. Perhaps keep a clean sheet.
But noooo... What we had was a team that falls to the ground at the slightest body contact. Somehow, their 'agonising cry' was convincing enough for silly Luigi. To add on to this insult, most of the time the aggression was initiated by them but when we stood our ground, it is them who fall.. Come on guys, there are limits to playing Drogba. As a result we don't get most of our fouls since we were not convincing enough in our wailing.
Nonetheless, credits to the opponents for the goals they have earned. They drew first blood due to a jetlagged reaction in front of our goalmouth resulting from a corner kick. We managed to pull up the score to 1-1 through fadly only to be cancelled by the opponents minutes after. All these were in the first half. Reminded that we will not be getting any favour from the referee, we begin the second half being a little more organised in midfield. Alas, although our opponent lose their zest a little, we let in a soft goal from a through pass. By that time tempers were escalating high, hard tackles and scathing remarks were thrown tactlessly. Final score RFC 3 Skopet 1.
Chins up guys. Albeit all the setbacks, I believe we gave our all for this match considering the circumstance. This is an opportunity for us to bounce back, learn from our mistakes and give our all for the next match. Stay tune for a rematch with RFC.

Losers & Lovers
Skopet Jokers got sixth place in the velocity cage tournament yesterday. Haha pretty unlucky. Some s-league players are involved, notably noor ali and sop's idol, farhan. After breezing the qualifiers 5-0, 0-0 , 5-1 last week, we got off on the wrong foot losing 2-0 in the first game.
We picked up thereafter and won the remaining group matches to top the group comfortably, including coming back from behind to win 3-2. All that in 10 min games? woh hardcore action.
The quarterfinals was a joke. We didnt realise the match duration has been cut down to 6 mins. trailing by a goal, supersubs Prem,me and herman, was getting ready to come on and make a difference, when suddenly the ref blew fulltime. WTF. we didnt even get a chance. **** la. We lost 2-1. the losing goal was a blooper by stand in keeper Sam who 'passed' the ball to a striker in front of goal. Haha tu la tk pakai gloves, kan licin. nvm dude. hard luck. you did well saving us several times. Thanks for playing for skopet.
So the boys cried after bowing out and proceeded to support the girls in their entertaining matches. Until hatta discovered we have a 5th/6th placing match.. which is against.. Weiming's team.
Yes ar.. redemption time.. And this time its back to 10mins game. However we trailed 2-0, dont noe what hit us. Captain marvel then came in and scored 2 goals to level the game which proceeded to penalties. First kicker boyboyan rammed an unstoppable shot.... straight into the keeper's stomach. (he showed us the ball print on his tummy after the game haha). 2nd kicker Sopbest took the kick well and aimed at the side, but the ball went to the centre and to the keeper instead. Weak ar korang. time practice sume masok. ish. the opponent made no mistakes and got the 5th placing. but who cares right. We're all losers anyway.
So we got a loser's 6th place medal. Takpela rezeki.. I can use it as a paperweight or something.
The girls showed the skopet's spirit and never-say-die attitude playing well against more established opponents, despite losing all games. So many instructions were shouted from the bench, i wonder how can they not get confused. Coach sop pet and rizman,manager fad, sofi's bf, mom and dad all shouting like mad. haha.Finally Capt Ju got a goal, sending players and supporters alike celebrating in jubilation as though we won the cup. haah classic. More time and practice and u girls will be winning in no time.
Well done all. was a good outing. didnt reap much, but we had fun. Eligible bachelor rizman managed to get severall numbers from the other ladies teams. woot. And prem fell in love with 'drogba's sister'. haha. ok thanks hatta for organising the team in my absence. Now who wants to take charge of next tournament?

So, we're playing our first friendly on articifial turf. sounds like fun. However the timing is not what we're used to. This cant be helped. Drink lots of water guys.
Lineup-wise, many stars are missing for this one. Rizman+Syafii (reservist), hattuso(overseas), Syahir,Zali,Asri(work) and Jason (donno wat). But then again, in Skopet, everyone is a star. star karat. Haha.
Good news, Choon and Weiming is available, and keeper Rudy is back from reservist. Ahmad Faisal n Husni is there too, so defence is not a problem. Attack... hmm.. lets hope adiksal is back from bangkok and not working this sat. Im nursing a swollen ankle from yesterday's comp, but will play nonetheless. Anything for skopet.
Lets do our best. Opponent is RFC, a young outfit, most are from JJC soccer team i guess. They just beat Team Orange 3-0. So yeah, cant take them lightly. Then again, we never take anyone lightly.

The scene of chopping a human being cleanly into half from head down with only intestines falling off and a few drops of blood still linger in my mind.LOL...super LAME! Skopet's Rampage!!!
By the word rampage, you'll know that i prefer a rhino on the logo. That's how we attack(in rampage mode) and also defend(in herds).
But i'm ok with any unanimous decision of the team as long as the number '4' is in it.
And if Liverpool can have a slogan, our's will be "Tak pandang per?!?..."
1st important issue:
I really don't know the unit number of the chalet. There was no indication on my receipt at all. All I know is Downtown East on the 6th of June. Unless somebody knows how to check back AXS bookings, then the only way of knowing it is on the day itself. So I suggest the organizers / committees will meet up at 4p.m sharp.
VERY IMPORTANT MATTER!! - FOOD!!...
The food com, please clue me in. Update me on food(including drinks) and bbq matters(utensils etc..) Rizman and Syaf will be in-charge of all these. The most responsible ones that I can think of. You can get any help from the rest including me. (paper picit ajer...). Don't worry about transport issues.
And also I would love to know if any of you can bring any home-cooked food.
Most probably I'll bring in Maggi Goreng. The rest of you are most welcomed, even the ladies. Who knows you might impressed any bachelors there with your wonderful own cooked dishes, notably the hot Boyboyan and the very naive but decent AdikSal

Match Report : 31st May 2008.
Skopet was in a rampaging mode past Saturday with an emphatic win over our opponents. 7 to nothing. If that wasn't a morale boosting game, I don't know what is. No disrespect to our opponents, but their sloppiness presented us with several opportunities including some of our goals. But there were also a few beauties as well. Although missing several key players, our makeshift defense was top draw. The only real threat from our opponent was an excellent pass and an angled shot that was parried away by Rudy in the 2nd half. Most of it was our game. Our twin wing terrors( Syahir-cair and Sop, the king of pet) was in ruthless mode passing frustrated phantom defenders in most part of the games. Fadly shows what exactly Bear Rampage is all about by opening the account.The flood gates continued with Herman and Zali (via superb team counter-attack) picking up a piece each in the 1st half. 2nd half was an all out domination. Evan scoring twice , Fadly completes his brace and with me closing the account thanks to a wonderful pass from Syahir the pelesit. We could have scored more but 7-0 was just right.
It's a fitting dedication to our number '7' Boyboyan.
(Boyboyan's reply : "baik arh, aku inspiration korang...wakaka wakaka..").
There might be plenty of defensive woes from our opponents but what matters is that we are able to take our chances and performing at our top level.

Skopet FC triumph against a very vibrant attacking team lead by "the man who controls the game".
They were so attacking minded that they pushed their defensive line too far off. Even the keeper.
We won. I would not say lucky but I would say opportunistic.
All the goals were score in the 1st half.
Sop pet skillfully heads the ball from a corner with a deliberate deflection of a defender that mislead the opponent's keeper. Yes, he talks to me before the game that he will purposely score a goal via deflection later on and he is sure a man of his words. 2nd goal was from Syahirsson. The opponent's defensive line was way out during our attacking phase and the keeper was caught out of position. Ball eventually went out of play so Adik Sal took the opportunity for a quick throw and Syahirsson with a delightful finish. But the opponent pull out an amazing goal out of nothing. A corner eluded everyone but found one of their man at the other flank. Crossed it in the box and this random guy from their team just cushioned the ball with his chest and blast in a brilliant volley.*jawdrops and eye popped*(hey, i'm just an admirer of beautiful goals). 2nd half we just took advantage of their far off d-line by pumping long balls and thru balls but ended up with nothing. Mr.Asshole is on his way for his 4th yellow card. By the way, the referee had it coming.
Anyway..is it only me noticing that Skopet is getting more technical and missing that free flowing passing game we used to have???...
But then again, like the Special One used to prioritized...winning is everything!!!!...

This sundays' game has been cancelled. Due to the fact that we're short of defenders and also because the opponent has backed out and im too lazy to find a replacement. I suggest we take a break this week and play street soccer/futsal as a team. Maybe at NIE court in the morning with the dragonscage guys, HafizBob and co. Theyre a great bunch to play with.
This saturday however skopet will send a team of 7 players to the mschallengeshield at east coast sports planet. The rest pls come down and support if you're free. Speaks volumes of our unity and teamspirit.

Skopet declares a period of emergency starting today.
Our regular custodian Rudy has a family matter to attend to and might not make it back to Singapore in time for this sat's game. At such, Asri is helping me find a stand-in keeper. If that fails Ill step up to be keeper. Yes me, the one who syaf and ex-bpians will remember letting in a massimo taibi-like goal in an interclass competition. Nevertheless ill try my best. Who has a goalkeeping-for-dummies book?
Our cyborq defenders on the other hand have deserted us for this game. Oi you guys on strike or what?? wtf all cannot play at the same time. Choon, Jason (fractured wrist), Weiming and Fish(reservist) cant make it. Now we really miss
Jiaming's consistency.
Evan and Herman is also out. Hatta is doubtful. damn. lets hope he can make it. No, its
imperative that he makes it.

Last Saturday's match has a few 'never' to begin with. Never had we played on artificial turf for friendly. Never had we been bubbled by someone at the very last minute- not me ah. Never had Choon lost a game with Skopet. Until last Saturday. But all's good people. At least we lose with dignity. Why do I say so? Let's see..
And so we had our match in the prick of noon. The sun's directly above our head in scorching heat. We knew nothing about our opponent other than the fact that they had defeated Team Orange prior to this match at a slightly impressive scoreline. Adding on to this new experience, is the entrance of a new referee whom we grew to hate, Luigi- Ref Mario's other half. Missing out on several players but not handicapped in the confidence department, we hoped for the best out of this match. Beat them to the scoreline. Perhaps keep a clean sheet.
But noooo... What we had was a team that falls to the ground at the slightest body contact. Somehow, their 'agonising cry' was convincing enough for silly Luigi. To add on to this insult, most of the time the aggression was initiated by them but when we stood our ground, it is them who fall.. Come on guys, there are limits to playing Drogba. As a result we don't get most of our fouls since we were not convincing enough in our wailing.
Nonetheless, credits to the opponents for the goals they have earned. They drew first blood due to a jetlagged reaction in front of our goalmouth resulting from a corner kick. We managed to pull up the score to 1-1 through fadly only to be cancelled by the opponents minutes after. All these were in the first half. Reminded that we will not be getting any favour from the referee, we begin the second half being a little more organised in midfield. Alas, although our opponent lose their zest a little, we let in a soft goal from a through pass. By that time tempers were escalating high, hard tackles and scathing remarks were thrown tactlessly. Final score RFC 3 Skopet 1.
Chins up guys. Albeit all the setbacks, I believe we gave our all for this match considering the circumstance. This is an opportunity for us to bounce back, learn from our mistakes and give our all for the next match. Stay tune for a rematch with RFC.

Skopet Jokers got sixth place in the velocity cage tournament yesterday. Haha pretty unlucky. Some s-league players are involved, notably noor ali and sop's idol, farhan. After breezing the qualifiers 5-0, 0-0 , 5-1 last week, we got off on the wrong foot losing 2-0 in the first game.
We picked up thereafter and won the remaining group matches to top the group comfortably, including coming back from behind to win 3-2. All that in 10 min games? woh hardcore action.
The quarterfinals was a joke. We didnt realise the match duration has been cut down to 6 mins. trailing by a goal, supersubs Prem,me and herman, was getting ready to come on and make a difference, when suddenly the ref blew fulltime. WTF. we didnt even get a chance. **** la. We lost 2-1. the losing goal was a blooper by stand in keeper Sam who 'passed' the ball to a striker in front of goal. Haha tu la tk pakai gloves, kan licin. nvm dude. hard luck. you did well saving us several times. Thanks for playing for skopet.
So the boys cried after bowing out and proceeded to support the girls in their entertaining matches. Until hatta discovered we have a 5th/6th placing match.. which is against.. Weiming's team.
Yes ar.. redemption time.. And this time its back to 10mins game. However we trailed 2-0, dont noe what hit us. Captain marvel then came in and scored 2 goals to level the game which proceeded to penalties. First kicker boyboyan rammed an unstoppable shot.... straight into the keeper's stomach. (he showed us the ball print on his tummy after the game haha). 2nd kicker Sopbest took the kick well and aimed at the side, but the ball went to the centre and to the keeper instead. Weak ar korang. time practice sume masok. ish. the opponent made no mistakes and got the 5th placing. but who cares right. We're all losers anyway.
So we got a loser's 6th place medal. Takpela rezeki.. I can use it as a paperweight or something.
The girls showed the skopet's spirit and never-say-die attitude playing well against more established opponents, despite losing all games. So many instructions were shouted from the bench, i wonder how can they not get confused. Coach sop pet and rizman,manager fad, sofi's bf, mom and dad all shouting like mad. haha.Finally Capt Ju got a goal, sending players and supporters alike celebrating in jubilation as though we won the cup. haah classic. More time and practice and u girls will be winning in no time.
Well done all. was a good outing. didnt reap much, but we had fun. Eligible bachelor rizman managed to get severall numbers from the other ladies teams. woot. And prem fell in love with 'drogba's sister'. haha. ok thanks hatta for organising the team in my absence. Now who wants to take charge of next tournament?

So, we're playing our first friendly on articifial turf. sounds like fun. However the timing is not what we're used to. This cant be helped. Drink lots of water guys.
Lineup-wise, many stars are missing for this one. Rizman+Syafii (reservist), hattuso(overseas), Syahir,Zali,Asri(work) and Jason (donno wat). But then again, in Skopet, everyone is a star. star karat. Haha.
Good news, Choon and Weiming is available, and keeper Rudy is back from reservist. Ahmad Faisal n Husni is there too, so defence is not a problem. Attack... hmm.. lets hope adiksal is back from bangkok and not working this sat. Im nursing a swollen ankle from yesterday's comp, but will play nonetheless. Anything for skopet.
Lets do our best. Opponent is RFC, a young outfit, most are from JJC soccer team i guess. They just beat Team Orange 3-0. So yeah, cant take them lightly. Then again, we never take anyone lightly.

Still having hangovers from last Friday's BBQ. Haha. The scene of chopping a human being cleanly into half from head down with only intestines falling off and a few drops of blood still linger in my mind.LOL...super LAME! Stupid C-grade gore movie.Anyway would like to thank the those who contributed to the BBQ esp Abg Hidung Husni, Zai Bacul and Azhar Babat for making it happen.

By the word rampage, you'll know that i prefer a rhino on the logo. That's how we attack(in rampage mode) and also defend(in herds).
But i'm ok with any unanimous decision of the team as long as the number '4' is in it.
And if Liverpool can have a slogan, our's will be "Tak pandang per?!?..."
1st important issue:
I really don't know the unit number of the chalet. There was no indication on my receipt at all. All I know is Downtown East on the 6th of June. Unless somebody knows how to check back AXS bookings, then the only way of knowing it is on the day itself. So I suggest the organizers / committees will meet up at 4p.m sharp.
VERY IMPORTANT MATTER!! - FOOD!!...
The food com, please clue me in. Update me on food(including drinks) and bbq matters(utensils etc..) Rizman and Syaf will be in-charge of all these. The most responsible ones that I can think of. You can get any help from the rest including me. (paper picit ajer...). Don't worry about transport issues.
And also I would love to know if any of you can bring any home-cooked food.
Most probably I'll bring in Maggi Goreng. The rest of you are most welcomed, even the ladies. Who knows you might impressed any bachelors there with your wonderful own cooked dishes, notably the hot Boyboyan and the very naive but decent AdikSal

Match Report : 31st May 2008.
Skopet was in a rampaging mode past Saturday with an emphatic win over our opponents. 7 to nothing. If that wasn't a morale boosting game, I don't know what is. No disrespect to our opponents, but their sloppiness presented us with several opportunities including some of our goals. But there were also a few beauties as well. Although missing several key players, our makeshift defense was top draw. The only real threat from our opponent was an excellent pass and an angled shot that was parried away by Rudy in the 2nd half. Most of it was our game. Our twin wing terrors( Syahir-cair and Sop, the king of pet) was in ruthless mode passing frustrated phantom defenders in most part of the games. Fadly shows what exactly Bear Rampage is all about by opening the account.The flood gates continued with Herman and Zali (via superb team counter-attack) picking up a piece each in the 1st half. 2nd half was an all out domination. Evan scoring twice , Fadly completes his brace and with me closing the account thanks to a wonderful pass from Syahir the pelesit. We could have scored more but 7-0 was just right.
It's a fitting dedication to our number '7' Boyboyan.
(Boyboyan's reply : "baik arh, aku inspiration korang...wakaka wakaka..").
There might be plenty of defensive woes from our opponents but what matters is that we are able to take our chances and performing at our top level.
